Our policy
Lonsdale Medical Centre is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all patients, staff, and visitors. We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of unwanted, inappropriate, or harmful sexual behaviour.
We follow the NHS Sexual Safety Charter and have measures in place to prevent, identify, and respond to concerns. All staff are expected to maintain professional boundaries at all times, and any behaviour that falls below these standards will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
We provide clear and confidential routes for raising concerns. Patients can report concerns via reception, through our online consultation system, or by contacting the Practice Manager. Staff are supported to speak up and can access internal and external support where needed.
All concerns are handled sensitively, investigated fairly, and used to support learning and improvement.
If you have any concerns about sexual safety, please contact the practice.
