Road Works - Possible Disruption to Surgery Access

Improvement works are taking place in Clanricarde Gardens and the surrounding Belvedere Estate from Monday 28 September and are expected to continue for approximately 8 weeks.

The contractors will be doing their best to maintain access and keep disruption to a minimum. However, there may be temporary restrictions affecting vehicle access and parking around the surgery as the works progress.

If you have an appointment at Lonsdale Medical Centre, please allow plenty of extra time to travel to the surgery and find parking.

Parking at the surgery

During the works, our limited on-site parking will be prioritised for:

• Frail and elderly patients
• Disabled patients and those with mobility difficulties
• Patients who are acutely unwell and unable to walk from a nearby public car park

If you are able to walk the short distance to the surgery, please help us by using one of the many public car parks nearby.

Nearby parking includes:

• Crescent Road Car Park
• Great Hall Car Park
• Torrington Car Park
• Tunbridge Wells Station Car Park
• Meadow Road Car Park
• Royal Victoria Place Car Park

Please do not rely on being able to park at the surgery and allow sufficient time to find alternative parking and walk to your appointment.

Patients who are frail, disabled, have mobility difficulties or are acutely unwell should not be concerned about this message – we will continue to do everything possible to maintain appropriate access to the surgery for those who need it.
