Congratulations on the birth of your baby.
Mums should have their postnatal check 6 to 8 weeks after the baby's birth to make sure they feel well and are recovering properly.
Your baby’s health should also be checked at around this time by a GP. This check is known as the baby’s 6 to 8 week check.
Please remember that there is often a wait of at least two weeks for routine face-to-face appointments and book these checks as soon as possible.
See the NHS website for more information.
