Lonsdale Medical Centre is the data controller for your personal information. We process data from applicants to assess suitability for roles.

Information we may collect

  • Contact details and information provided in your application or CV
  • Employment history and references
  • Qualifications, professional registration and membership where relevant
  • Right to work and identity information
  • DBS/criminal record information where relevant and legally permitted
  • Information required for occupational/work health purposes and reasonable adjustments
  • Interview notes, scores and other recruitment assessment information
 

Who we may share it with 

Information will only be shared where necessary with people involved in the recruitment process and with relevant third parties such as referees, occupational health, professional regulators, recruitment providers and the Disclosure and Barring Service where applicable.

 

Retention

  • Unsuccessful candidates: up to 12 months
  • Successful candidates: transferred to HR file
 

Legal basis

  • Article 6(1)(b) – Pre-contract
  • Article 9(2)(b) – Employment obligations
 

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Object to processing where applicable
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO
 

Automated decision-making

We do not make recruitment decisions based solely on automated decision-making.
